November 2nd was a beautiful day after the unexpected Halloween snow we had in Portsmouth so I decided to venture down to North Hampton to visit a cool sounding broker open house at 79 Atlantic Avenue. Atlantic Ave is one of those cool streets that runs from Route 1 over to Ocean Boulevard along the Atlantic Ocean.
The open house was very nice and is in a very desirable location just across the street from Runnymede Farm the famous North Hampton horse farm and breeders. Runnymeade Farms has produced horses like Kentucky Derby winner Dancer’s Image and other great thoroughbreds.
Below is the street view of 79 Atlantic Avenue and to the right is the view ofRunnymeade Farms across the road.
Listed for $750,000, 79 Atlantic Avenue in North Hampton features 2.5 acres of land and is located just about a mile from the beach & Atlantic Ocean.
Here’s a couple of photos of the interior and a shot looking toward the rear of the land. The remains of our ‘white Halloween’ are still lingering on the ground.
After leaving the open house it was such a nice day I decided to drive back to Portsmouth along Ocean Boulevard and enjoy the beach.
There were a few hardy souls enjoying the sunshine and the day at Jenness Beach.
Off the beach a couple of lobstermen were out checking their traps.
Pretty quiet up at Rye Harbor, most of the pleasure boats have been hauled in for the winter.
Up at Wallis Sands Beach one lone beachgoer was walking on the rock jetty.
And a lone Seagull was standing on the rocks looking for either a friend or a fish.
Sometimes it’s fun to take the long way home and enjoy the sights along the way.
