This past Sunday turned into a very foggy day in Portsmouth NH. Around noon we decided to drive out to Newick’s Lobster House at Dover Point for lunch. Below is a photo I shot through the window looking out toward Newick’s dock and Little Bay.
One of the truly cool things about living in Portsmouth NH and the New Hampshire Seacoast is the ever changing weather. You can have thick fog like this in the morning hours but by afternoon it can clear off and be nice and sunny.
This past Friday we also had some early morning ground fog. This was the scene at a local Portsmouth NH cemetery.
Of course Portsmouth NH also has more than its share of bright, sunny days as well but I find the few foggy days like these past two give you a better appreciation of great weather.
