Portsmouth New Hampshire Walking Tour

Join me on a walking tour of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Just an afternoon meandering around town seeing some sights.

Portsmouth nh wanderings on a sunny afternoon

The Franklin Building on Congress Street

There is some very interesting architectural features on many of the downtown buildings. At the Franklin Building on Congress St. for instance, I wondered if the crosses were integrated into the windows deliberately or they were just the way the window frames turned out. I think I’ll choose to believe it was done on purpose.

 Portsmouth NH wanderings

Here's a whimsical pair of.......well, 'somethings' I noticed setting on the sidewalk in front of a shop.

Someone was very creative to make the crab using an old pair of pliers and turning the army helmet into a turtle.

If you’re thinking of paying us a visit there are lots of very cool things to see and do as well as all price ranges of accommodations from quaint bed & breakfast inns to full service hotels.  We also have a very nice selection of very good restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

Enjoy the tour.
